Phil puts a simple way to explain the gospel in your hand. You can give your attention to the person in front of you and explore what this good news means for their life.

Treasure hunt
Pay attention to the people around you.
Before you head out, take time to pray and listen. Is there a place, a name or an impression God brings to mind? Record those clues in Phil and keep them together on one screen as you go.
If a clue seems to fit someone you meet, you can ask to show them your card. The display shows the clues while keeping your personal notes out of view. Share a prophetic word in the conversation itself.
Testimonies
Remember what God has done.
Some encounters are worth returning to. The person you prayed for, the change they experienced and the way you saw God at work.
Phil gives those memories a place. Record who was there, where you met and what happened. You can add photos or other supporting material when the person has entrusted it to you for that purpose.
When you tell the story again, the details are there with it.
Prayer list
Let a conversation become a relationship.
Someone stays on your heart after you meet. You want to keep praying and find out how they are doing.
In Phil, you can keep their prayer requests close, record answers to prayer and set a reminder for an agreed call or meeting. Phil can also add the appointment to your calendar.
It helps you stay connected with people God has entrusted to you.
God speaks
Your life with God has a story.
A verse stays with you. Something becomes clear in prayer. Someone shares a prophetic word about your life. You want to keep it, test it and return to it later.
With the speaker’s permission, you can record the word in Phil. A transcript lets you read it back and search it. You can also note who spoke, when and where.
Your journal holds Bible verses, impressions and dreams. Looking back helps you see what was on your heart and how things developed.

What stays private
Keep personal things in your hands.
Phil has no user account, advertising or usage analytics. Your entries are stored on your iPhone. When you are signed in to iCloud, Phil also syncs them through your private iCloud area to your Apple devices.
God speaks is protected with Face ID. Testimonies remain accessible without an extra lock so you can reach them quickly during a conversation.

Good to know
What does Phil cost?
Phil is free, with no ads, in-app purchases or subscription.
Do I need an account?
You do not need a Phil account. Sync uses your existing iCloud account. Without iCloud, your entries stay on your device.
How do I back up my entries?
Open the info area and choose Backup. Phil creates a file with your testimonies, prayer list, appointments, recordings and photos. Keep it somewhere secure. You can bring it back into the app using Restore.
If you use iCloud, your entries also sync through your private iCloud area. Keeping your own backup file is especially useful before changing devices.
Does Phil work offline?
Yes. The 3 Circles, Bible passages and saved entries are available on your device. iCloud sync resumes when you are online again.
Who can read my entries?
We, as the provider, do not have access to your entries. Access on your device also depends on its screen lock. God speaks has additional Face ID protection.
Which Bible translation does Phil use?
The English version uses the New Living Translation. The rights notice is included in the app.
Can I attach a medical report to a testimony?
You can add a report when the person entrusts it to you for that purpose. Agree with them beforehand on what you may keep.

Phil is named after Philip in Acts 8, who was led by the Holy Spirit to explain Scripture and share the good news of Jesus with someone he met on the road.
